Hi! I’m Lisa Inanna (Self).

Have you ever experienced a hunger for something so much more in life - a craving from the deepest depths of your SOUL?

If so, there is a place setting at The Soulicious Life table with your name on it! I invite you to grab a cup of your favorite hot tea (or a glass of wine!), have a seat and let's get to know one another over Soul S.I.P.S. (See Home page).

Now that we are getting to know each other, you might be wondering why I have (Self) at the end of my name above. That is because Lisa Self is my legal name (which could change as women know!), and Lisa Inanna is my soul name, literally.

In 2003 I embarked upon a spiritual journey. I did not travel abroad, but chose a process that could be integrated into my daily life. During this process, it was suggested that we participants might want to choose a soul name for ourselves - something that would serve as a reminder of how we want to bring Soul to our physical lives.

The mythological Sumerian Goddess, Inanna, was known for confronting life boldly without fear of how she would be perceived by others. I immediately resonated with this character trait and chose my soul name, Lisa Inanna, accordingly.

It was also very fitting at that time in my life. Two years prior in 2001, I had made a major decision to change my career as a family law paralegal so that I could live my soul’s passion for holistic living.

Certainly, close friends and family thought I was nuts! Heck, at times even I thought I was! You see, I TRULY loved my job. I had a great boss (we are still very good friends 25 years later), and I made enough money to live what I, at the time, considered a really good lifestyle.  I was young, comfortable and overall happy. However, despite all the good that I had going for me, I just could not ignore the stirring I had been feeling deep down in my soul. It was there to stay, and I knew I must do something to satisfy this deep craving.

I began my new career as a  holistic practitioner by first becoming a licensed massage therapist. That made the most sense because I could do so in only one year and I was able to replace the salary I was accustomed to rather quickly.

After more continuing ed and soul-growth seminars than I can even recall, in January 2007, I began my journey to become a Master Practitioner in Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.).  B.E.S.T. is an in-depth holistic healing (& living) technique that addresses all aspects of the physical body, including chemistry; how the mind and emotions  influence the body (and life); and our life force or spirit-energy body.

During my 10 years in private practice in Atlanta, I offered both one-on-one sessions and group sessions, and quickly came to love the group sessions most after realizing that, in addition to the group synergy, this format allowed time for more education and that, once others understood the “how & why” behind the practices, they were much more willingly to comply and their results were often far superior to simply scheduling individual sessions, not to mention that they were much more cost effective to boot!

Today I still keep the aspect of Inanna that I first resonated with in the forefront of my awareness and choose to continue living life boldly (Souliciously!) without fear of how I might be perceived by others.  I am 48 years young & recently relocated to beautiful Chattanooga, Tennessee.  I still have a soul craving to share the same valuable Soul S.I.P.S. that I taught to others in workshops and continue to personally live by, but rather than opening another brick & mortar business, I will be offering my Soul S.I.P.S. here at TheSouliciousLife.com via blog posts, webinars, and online courses.  Occasionally, in-person workshops will also be available.

I am most grateful to share the same table with you as, together, we eat deliciously & LIVE SOULICIOUSLY!

Bon appetit!

Lisa Inanna
